Ingredients
• 1 kg chuck steak diced
• 1 Tbsp fat or butter
• 1½ tsps lite salt
• ¼ tsp pepper
• 1 sprig parsley
• ¼ tsp thyme
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 large onion sliced
• 1 stalk celery diced
• 3 sliced carrots
Method
- Brown meat in melted butter in casserole dish.
- Add seasonings and Worcestershire Sauce.
- Cover casserole and simmer until meat is tender.
- Add uncooked vegetables to meat about ½ an hour before meat would be tender.
