Ingredients

  • 350 gms frozen chopped spinach
  • 100 gms cottage cheese
  • 6 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • ½ cup grated mild cheese
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cracked black pepper

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Thaw and drain spinach, squeezing out any excess liquid.
  3. Lightly grease a casserole dish or suitable baking dish. In a mixing bowl, blend together spinach, cottage cheese, butter, eggs, grated cheese, nutmeg and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture into baking dish.
  5. Cook for 1 hour.
