Tasty Beef Stew

Ingredients

• 1 kg chuck steak diced
• 1 Tbsp fat or butter
• 1½ tsps lite salt
• ¼ tsp pepper
• 1 sprig parsley
• ¼ tsp thyme
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 large onion sliced
• 1 stalk celery diced
• 3 sliced carrots

 

Method

  1. Brown meat in melted butter in casserole dish.
  2. Add seasonings and Worcestershire Sauce.
  3. Cover casserole and simmer until meat is tender.
  4. Add uncooked vegetables to meat about ½ an hour before meat would be tender.
