Don’t let your body sink and slump into an armchair in front of the TV…… get up and get moving in front of your favourite programs.

You might think it’s a bit odd to be moving to the news, or walking to the weather, but you’ll soon get the hang of it, and truly enjoy a variety of light exercise options while watching television. Try boxing in front of the box…… or sweating with sports shows.

Discover your inner dancer/diva while watching talent shows, or even do some ‘Wiggling’ with the kids! Be mindful of how much time you spend sitting still (watching TV, playing computer games, surfing the net, driving in your car).

While engaged in sedentary activities try to think of innovative opportunities to move your body, stretch your muscles and exercise away your weight.
